Context
The Cineplex movie theater chain needed to update its brand and communication to keep up with market changes in the sector. It was also undergoing a name change from TOP Cineplex to just Cineplex.
What we did in this project
Visual identity.
Development
Movies are entertainment. They’re a pleasant moment of relaxation. So, a light and fun identity made perfect sense for this movie theater chain from the outskirts of Sao Paulo.
As the customer requested, red and black were kept as the basic communication colors. Illustrations of traditional movie theater items were added, such as movie tickets, popcorn bags, 3D glasses, soda cups, clapperboards and film rolls, giving it a sense of nostalgia with a retro style.

A rede de cinemas Cineplex precisava atualizar a sua marca e comunicação para acompanhar as mudanças do mercado no setor. Além disso, estava passando por uma mudança de nome, de TOP Cineplex para apenas Cineplex.

Desenvolvimento
O cinema é entretenimento puro, aquele momento gostoso de descontração. Por isso, uma identidade leve e fun fez todo o sentido para a rede de cinemas do interior de São Paulo.
Como desejo do cliente, mantemos como base da comunicação as cores vermelho e preto e adicionamos ilustrações de itens clássicos como tickets, pipoca, óculos 3D, refrigerante, claquete e rolo de filme, sempre trazendo nostalgia através de um visual retrô
